I’m Zach Russell, a copywriter with 10 years of experience helping brands sound more human.
Over the years, I’ve written just about everything—from videos to email campaigns to UX copy and print ads. My favorite projects are the ones that require clarity, voice, and connection. I’ve written for billion-dollar brands and startups alike, and I bring the same level of curiosity and care to both.
Before copywriting, I was a Marine. And in my spare time, I’m a stand up comic. These two experiences taught me the value of discipline, working with others, and hooking an audience’s attention fast.
These days, I spend most of my time writing for UX teams. But I’ve occasionally freelanced for solar companies, casinos, tech companies, dog supplement brands, and more.
I live in Dallas, Texas with my wife, our new baby who does not get my humor.
